Tangy. Citrus-forward. The IPA that tastes like biting into a cold grapefruit on a hot day.
Grapefruit Burst IPA was inspired by one of the great American IPAs — Ballast Point's Grapefruit Sculpin — and we make no apologies for that. We took a classic West Coast IPA base and loaded it with grapefruit additions that amplify the natural citrus character of the hops into something unapologetically juicy and tart.
At 68 IBU and 7.0% ABV it's a serious IPA — but the grapefruit keeps it fresh and food-friendly. The bitterness is firm but bright, never harsh. If you like citrus and hops, this is your beer.
Ceviche, grilled fish with citrus, Thai green curry, light salads, goat cheese, and anything bright and acidic. The grapefruit character echoes citrus-forward dishes perfectly.
